Arai SKV-R (FIA 8878-2024 / Snell K2025)

Developed specifically for karting competition, the Arai SKV-R represents the new generation of the renowned SK-6. Its complex laminate construction cLc shell features a smooth, rounded profile designed to promote glancing off impacts while providing an excellent combination of strength, light weight and comfort.

The new GP-VAS visor system uses a lower pivot point, creating a smoother upper surface and allowing the visor to open fully without interfering with the shell. It also features a secure central locking system that is easy to operate, even when wearing gloves. The optimised eyeport provides approximately 8 mm of additional downward vision, improving visibility of the track, steering wheel and kart instruments.

The SKV-R features an updated ventilation system and a removable, odour-resistant interior that can be adjusted using foam layers, allowing the fit to be customised while making cleaning easier. The cheek pads have been redesigned to simplify microphone installation and provide a more natural fit when wearing glasses. It is also prepared for the installation of a hydration system.
