In motorsport competitions with single-seaters and karting, full-face helmets with visors are mandatory. This type of helmet is also sometimes used in touring car and rally competitions.
The visors protect us from wind, sun glare and allow us to have a good visibility during the whole competition. They also play a fundamental role in the safety of the driver as they protect us from impacts from stones, insects or even parts of other cars. In addition, the visors must comply with anti-fire regulations and must be approved by the FIA for certain types of competition.
All visors have an anti-fog treatment to prevent condensation during the race. It is important that the visor is handled only at the ends and carefully wiped with a cloth so that these properties are not lost.
